Doreen's journey to founding Cosmed Beauty Clinic was inspired during the busy times of the 2021 pandemic. Faced with the decision to return to school to become a nurse for a raise, she chose instead to start her own successful business. Her goal is to help clients with skin concerns, such as severe acne, and she has witnessed dramatic improvements with consistent maintenance. Doreen also focuses on slowing the aging process by tightening the skin, customizing treatments according to skin types and client needs, and creating personalized programs over time. She offers advice on regular skincare routines to maintain results.

Meet Doreen Lim, aka Suyi the esteemed Founder and Proprietor of Cosmed Beauty Clinic. With over 20 years of experience in the field of medical aesthetics, Doreen’s journey is a testament to her dedication and passion for beauty and wellness. Her career in medical aesthetics began in 2006, when she earned her Canadian license after immigrating to Canada. Prior to this, she was a consultant for a prestigious 5-star health and beauty club in Malaysia, where she honed her skills and expertise.
After arriving in Canada, Doreen pursued her diploma in medical aesthetics and aesthetics, which laid the foundation for her successful career. She went on to co-found a school with colleagues, which she later sold to gain more hands-on experience in the field. Doreen worked closely with doctors to deepen her knowledge and skills in medical aesthetics, which eventually led her to establish her own successful clinic.
Doreen is not only a dedicated professional but also a devoted mother and grandmother. She cherishes spending weekends with her family, especially her 4-year-old granddaughter. In her leisure time, Doreen enjoys taking walks in her local park and swimming laps at the community pool. Her love for skincare extends beyond her professional life, as she is passionate about maintaining youthful appearances for herself and her family.
